Mega Update

I never update this thing, I knew it would happen and yet I made it anyway. Oh well. I retired, then I made some more maps and now I'm working even harder than ever making even more maps! Here are the ones I released lately:

You Have to Burn the Wool
A riff on the old flash game: You have to Burn the Rope. This was just a fun little side project because I saw a funny idea and thought it might be fun in Minecraft. Really short though it does have some cool tech in there. A full song and a fw other bits and pieces.

The Flood
A side story in the village of Eronev... it does explain one of the big moments in the towns history though and you will see some very familiar faces. You're tasked with rescueing all the villagers from the rising floodwater. The more you save, the better. Canonically you have to save them all, so certainly check out that ending :)

Eronev 2: The Soul Cauldron
The sequel to the Eronev Mansion Adventure. This one started as one thing, and finished as a sort of CTM/Adventure hybrid. It has a lot of back story and some wild twists in it that (I think) you wont see coming. I actually really enjoy the story in this one since it's very dynamic and dialogue happen all the time rather than in the separate locations. Sort of like the equivalent of in game cinematics rather than cutscenes like in the first one.

AAaaaand that brings me to now. I am hard at work at a whole new IP on a map that's never been done before with a bunch of map making buddies. rsmalec, vladimyr, faume and nirgalbunny are all working with me on this one and it looks like a lot of fun. The first teaser trailer  was released on valentines day.

I am also working on 2 other side projects, one of them is a collaboration with a much bigger map maker, also the Eronev Chronicles series will see at least one more installment. I'm thinking a puzzle map for it next time.

Anyway. Bye!

Yay for rarely updating!

As expected I very rarely update this thing. But when I do... wow what an amazing experience it is. Or not really.

Anyway I'm SUPER busy right now with youtube, and I'm loving it. I'm just cranking out the videos and it's always fun to see comments and reactions to it. My first "mod review" ish went up today and it's all about redpower. Now I'm not sure whether I would actually use the mod, because as a general rule I dont use mods, however if I were going to use one, it would be that one. It's simply amazing and can't wait to see what else Eloraam puts into it.

Season 2 of  BRF is coming to a close, it's been a very interesting one with a large variety of requests and certainly is keeping things fresh for Minecraft. I suppose when that ends I might start working on a new custom map. Eronev has over 6000 downloads which is more than I had ever hoped for, but it also means I have a fairly high bar to reach for the next one...

I have lots of ideas about the next one, maybe it'l be a prequel talking about how the old man came into a situation that he did. Maybe a morality system? For sure lots of redstone and puzzles. I may make it a bit more linear than the last one since the biggest complaint about the last map was people getting lost despite constant nudging in the right direction.

Dunno yet, we'll see.

Eronev Mansion Adventure Is Out!

Yay I finally finished the adventure map. It took bloody ages to build and loads of things went wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's as complete as it's every going to be.

Adventure Tuesdays!

Since I finished the first video of my new Adventure series on a Tuesday, I have decided that Tuesdays are now Adventure Tuesdays!!!

Every week from now on (much like BRF but on Tuesdays) I will be uploading an episode of an Adventure playthrough. Probably with another person for the most part too, just to add some extra flavor. The first episode will be out today. It is the Redmurk Mystery, and it's awesome.

I hope you enjoy it too.

edit: I changed it to Tuesdays and Wednesdays because one episode a week is lame.

1000 Subscribers!

So I finally made it. the big 1000! My channel looks a lot more tough now that there is 4 figures on the subscriber section. Thanks to everyone that has subscribed so far and to everyone who does in the future. It has been awesome fun making videos and having other people enjoy what I make.

I recently started a Facebook page which should make it easier to keep track of people making requests for By Request Friday. So make sure you give it a like and check it out. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jigarbov/114100522013454

Ultra PEZ 9000

I don't believe I forgot to put this up here... So here it is.

It took WAY too much work to finally finish. I don't think I'll be doing a let's build of this because it's a bit ridiculous and will probably break in future updates... Anyway That's that!

I'm not really sure what I'm building for the next BRF. There is lots of suggestions but not many that I want to do, or that would be quick to do. But I'm sure I will find something. I also finished filming all my videos for Leptir1 so that's good too. Just hit 900+ Subs. Nearly 1000 which is super exciting. I have a cool video special that will be going up the moment that 1000th person hits that sub button.

Leptir1 ft: Jigarbov

Leptir1 a while ago found my channel and asked me to build him a station for him on his server. His server uses a mod called Minecart Mania, so I had to accept to try it out and see what it was capable of.  He then asked me to make some tutorial vids for him on his channel. So I thought why not? I'll keep my channel for normal Minecraft goodness, and make some Minecart Mania mod tutorials for him and his users.

The first tutorial is up now. Enjoy.
